  42. Netzwerken vertrieben werden; einzige Ausnahme: der Vertrieb über das MSN 
  43. (MSN ist ein eingetragener Name der Firma Microsoft) ist nicht gestattet.

  67. Damit dieses Programm funktioniert benötigen Sie mindestens:
  68.     - Kickstart / Workbench 2.04
  69.     - ReqTools.library ( (c) Nico Francois)

  71. Installation:
  72. -------------
  73. Das Hauptprogramm wird am besten in den WBStartup-Ordner kopiert (dann wird
  74. o_s-b bei jedem Systemstart geladen; WICHTIG: das Programmicon muß auch
  75. kopiert werden !). Anschließend muß noch die Konfigurationsdatei nach ENV: und
  76. nach ENVARC: kopiert werden (sie kann dann später vom Programm aus verändert
  77. werden (s.u.). WICHTIG: Seit Version 4.00 heißt die Konfigurationsdatei
  78. o_s-b4.prefs, alte Konfigurationsdateien können zwar konvertiert, aber nicht
  79. normal benutzt werden (zur Konvertierung s.u.). Ist dieses alles erledigt, muß
  80. entweder der Amiga neu gestartet, oder aber das Programm "per Hand" mittels
  81. doppelklick gestartet werden. Es erscheint nun ein kleiner START-Button in der
  82. linken unteren Ecke der Workbench.

  84. Wie man o_s-b konfiguriert:
  85. ---------------------------
  86. Die Konfiguration von o_s-b wird in der Datei o_s-b4.prefs gespeichert, diese
  87. sollte sich sowohl im ENV: als auch im ENVARC: -Verzeichnis befinden. Es gibt
  88. zwei Möglichkeiten, diese Datei zu erstellen/verändern/verwalten:
  89.  1) Mittels eines Editors. Zu diesem Zweck wird noch die ALTE
  90.     Konfigurationsdatei (o_s-b.prefs) sowie der Konverter benötigt. Man erstellt
  91.     seine gewünschte Konfiguration mit einem Editor (wie diese Datei aussehen
  92.     muß steht (in englischer Sprache, da es noch aus der alten Anleitung stammt,
  93.     und ich keinen Grund sehe, das noch zu übersetzen, da man eigentlich über
  94.     das Programm selbst konfigurieren sollte...) gleich unter diesem Text) und
  95.     konvertiert diese dann ins neue Format (wie man konvertiert s.u.).
  96.  
  97.      [The usage of the configuration-file is to tell o_s-b which programs
  98.      can be loaded and how.
  99.      You can define groups, program-titles, the program-path and the 
  100.      cli/shell-command to load the program. o_s-b reads through the
  101.      configuration-file from top to bottom and so programs will always be
  102.      added to the last defined group. 
  103.        !! It is not allowed to add programs without defining a group !!
  104.        !! before, so you'll always have to create at least one group !! 
  105.  
  106.      A valid line starts with one of the following commands (all other lines
  107.      are ignored and can be used for comments): 
  108.  
  109.       ":"  - this shows o_s-b that a new group should be defined
  110.       ">"  - this tells o_s-b the name of the new program
  111.       "!"  - this is the cli/shell-command that will launch the program
  112.              (note: this command always refers to the last given name)
  113.       "#"  - this tells o_s-b in which directory it should change
  114.             (note: this command always refers to the last given name)
  115.  
  116.      Following to the command is the parameter, for example the name of the
  117.      new group or the program-name.
  118.    
  119.      To get an idea how the configuration-file works, just have a look at the
  120.      example in this distribution. ]

  122.  2) Mittels des eingebauten Konfigurationsprogrammes. Um dieses aufzurufen
  123.     klicks man einfach im großen fenster auf den Schriftzug am linken Fenster-
  124.     rand. Es erscheint ein Requester mit 4 Optionen:
  125.       BACK...     > Schließt die Konfiguration
  126.       Add program > Ergänzt ein Programm in der Liste
  127.       Del program > Entfernt ein Programm aus der Liste
  128.       Set font    > Verändert den Font
  129.     
  130.     Zu den einzelnen Optionen:
  131.     
  132.     Add program: Nach Anwahl dieses Buttons werden Sie nach dem Namen für das
  133.                  Programm gefragt. Geben Sie hier ein, was Ihnen gefällt, Sie
  134.                  haben 20 Zeichen Platz. Anschließend werden Sie nach der Gruppe
  135.                  für das Programm gefragt, geben Sie hier entweder einen bereits
  136.                  existierenden Gruppennamen an (unbedingt auf Groß-/
  137.                  Kleinschreibung achten, sonst gilt die Gruppe als neu) und
  138.                  o_s-b ergänzt das Programm zu der Gruppe, oder geben Sie einen
  139.                  neuen Namen an und o_s-b erstellt diese Gruppe. Im Anschluß
  140.                  erschein ein Fileauswahlrequester. Wählen Sie hier bitte das
  141.                  Programm aus, welches o_s-b starten soll.
  142.     Del program: Wenn Sie diesen Button drücken, fragt o_s-b Sie erst nach dem
  143.                  Namen des Programms, welches Sie löschen wollen. 
  144.                  Anschließend müssen Sie o_s-b noch mitteilen, in welcher
  145.                  Gruppe sich das zu löschende Programm befindet (Groß-/Klein-
  146.                  schreibung ist hier egal). Nach einer weiteren
  147.                  Sicherheitsabfrage wird das Programm dann gelöscht.
  148.     Set font   : Mit diesem Button können Sie festlegen, welchen Font o_s-b
  149.                  benutzen soll. Es erscheint ein Requester und Sie können
  150.                  einfachen einen Font auswählen. Ein Hinweis: Der neue Font
  151.                  wird erst nach einem Programmneustart benutzt.
  152.                  Ich empfehle sehr, keine zu großen Fonts zu benutzen.
  153.  
  154. Programmbenutzung:
  155. ------------------
  156. Nachdem das Programm gestartet wurde, erscheint unten links auf der Workbench
  157. ein kleiner START-Button. Ein klick darauf öffnet ein größeres Fenster mit
  158. 2 Listen, 3 Buttons und einer Grafik. In der linken Liste stehen alle
  159. Programmgruppen, je nach Auswahl verändert sich die rechte Liste. In der
  160. rechten Liste stehen alle Programme der aktuellen Gruppe. Wählt man ein
  161. Programm aus, so wird es gestartet. Die drei Buttons am unteren Bildschirmrand
  162. sind ABOUT, CLOSE und QUIT. About zeigt einige Programminformationen, Close
  163. schließt das große Fenster, ohne ein Programm zu starten und Quit beendet o_s-b
  164. vollständig. Ein klick auf die Grafik am linken Bildschirmrand öffnet die
  165. Konfiguration (s.o.).
  166. Die Auswahl in den beiden Listen erfolgt entweder per Maus, oder mit der
  167. Tastatur. Im letzteren Fall gilt folgende Tastaturbelegung:
  168. <Cursor links>  - linke Liste einen Eintrag höher
  169. <Cursor rechts> - linke Liste einen Eintrag tiefer
  170. <Cursor hoch>   - rechte Liste einen Eintrag höher
  171. <Cursor runter> - rechte Liste einen Eintrag tiefer
  172. <Return>        - aktuelles Programm starten
  173. <ESC>           - Fenster schließen.
  174. Erreicht man den Anfang bzw. das Ende einer Liste und drückt erneut in Richtung
  175. Anfang (bzw. Ende) der Liste, so springt o_s-b auf den letzten (bzw. ersten)
  176. Eintrag der Liste.
  177.  
  178. Benutzung des Converters:
  179. -------------------------
  180. Der Converter liest die alte Konfiguration ENV:o_s-b.prefs und speichert
  181. die neue Konfiguration in den Files ENVARC:o_s-b4.prefs und ENV:o_s-b4.prefs.
  182. Existiert die alte Datei nicht, bricht der Converter kit einer Fehlermeldung ab.
  183. Um den Converter zu starten kann man entweder auf das Icon doppelt klicken, oder
  184. man startet ihn vom CLI/Shell aus.

  232.         * previos o_s-b-versiones sometimes exited without a 
  233.           reason when the start-button was pressed (especially
  234.           when the cpu was used a lot), this should be fixed now

  236. V3.01 - * Some parts of o_s-b can now be controlled with the keyboard.
  237.           You can select the program-entrys using <CursUp>, <CursDown>,
  238.           you can launch a program using <Return> or <Enter> and you
  239.           can close the big window using <Esc>

  266.           (replace <Name> with the fontname and <Size> with the desired size).
  267.           If the font can not be opened, o_s-b will use topaz-8 instead.
  268.           Be warned: Even if you can select another font, o_s-b is not (yet)
  269.           font-sensitive; this means, too big fonts will make texts go over
  270.           the borders of the buttons and that looks strange... (anyway you
  271.           may try it out once to see what happens...).
  272.           You should have a look at the example configuration-file.
  273.         * Added a DONOTWAIT -statement to the icon, so the Workbench will
  274.           not create an error anymore on startup (I'm sorry for that...)

  276. V3.05 - * Windows and buttons are now font-sensitive (with one exception:
  277.           the width of the big window does not change, so using too big fonts
  278.           is still not suggested... but fonts up to a size of 25 work fine)

  281.           the big window. If you click on it, a configuration-requester will
